Neeyum Njanum 08 June 2022 Written Update : Trivikraman tells Ravi Varman about Sreelakshmi’s transformation

In the previous episode of Neeyum Njanum, Ravi Varman, Rajaram and Sandra discuss Sreelakshmi’s behavioral change and the possible reasons for the same. Sandra suggests to Ravi Varman that Sreelakshmi be taken for psychiatric counseling. Rekha is infuriated over the fact that everyone at the office is giving Sreelakshmi undue importance. She informs Ravi Varman that she is not interested in working in a place that does not acknowledge her presence and leaves the office for good.

In the next episode of Neeyum Njanum, Trivikraman comes to meet Ravi Varman. Upon asking what it is that he wants to talk about, Trivikraman tells him that he has been wanting to share some very important matters with him. He asks his son Deepu to leave them alone for some time. He starts by apologising for always trying to create hurdles for Ravi Varman and Sreelakshmi. Ravi Varman is all ears when Trivikraman says that he completely understands that his present condition is nothing but the net result of all his misdeeds and that he doesn’t have any complaints about the same as the events leading to the loss of his eyesight were quite an eye-opener for him. While he lost his sight, he has been able to figure out that his entire life until then was built upon the foundation of foolish decisions. He believed that it was important that he communicated with Ravi Varman the crux of this change in his approach to the latter. He tells Ravi Varman that God has been punishing him in more ways than one. The most severe one was in the form of ghosts. He narrates the occasion where he was warned by Sreelakshmi who eventually transforms into Rajanandini to stay away from their life and ultimately take the light from his eye, making him blind. He says he deserved it anyway and that he now has only one request for Ravi Varman and that was to support him in finding a job no matter how small or menial for him to be able to fend for himself as long as his health permits without becoming a burden on anybody around. He also thanks Ravi Varman for being cordial with him in spite of being so negative to him. Ravi Varman assures Trivikraman that he will do the needful.

Sarojam waits for Sreelakshmi. She tells Sreelakshmi that she had a bad feeling about Sreelakshmi not being able to enter the temple to pray being her first day at the office after marriage. She gets vermillion from the temple for Sreelakshmi to apply. Sreelakshmi stops Sarojam from applying it to her forehead. Sarojam also tells her that the priest has given her an amulet that could possibly ward away any fear or worry that might be bothering her. Sreelakshmi takes it but does not wear it.

Raghu Varman scolds Rekha for walking out of the office on the very first day. She in turn blames him for not being responsible enough for anyone to give him his due respect or position. Raghu Varman wavers a little initially but later tries to make Rekha understand that Ravi Varman was probably doing only that which was right for the project by allotting more funds for Sreelakshmi’s project. He asks her to prove her efficiency and make profits with the amount allocated to her to be able to let Ravi Varman judge her capacity.

Rekha keeps cribbing about Sreelakshmi to which Raghu Varman tells her that Sreelakshmi is his brother’s wife and that even though she must be younger than him, she is as good as his mother. Rekha is furious by this comment and blurts out about how Sreelakshmi is going to undermine the peace of the family. Raghu Varman raises his hand to hit her but stops. Rekha still doesn’t stop and reminds him that the day is not far when every member in the household starts fighting with each other over Sreelakshmi.
