Nivedita Saraf Aka Agga Bai Sasubai’s Asawari Is Excited To Rewatch Hum Paanch On Zee TV

Various popular shows of the yesteryears have made their return on TV during the lockdown. Now, one of our favourite soap operas of the 90s, Hum Paanch is all set to return on TV to entertain the fans. Keeping up with the trend of reruns during the lockdown, Zee TV has decided to retelecast this evergreen comedy-drama starting from today. Hum Paanch revolved around the hilarious story of a middle-class family and managed to tickle the funny bone of the audiences. The show became a cult classic and even returned for a second season in 2005 on audiences’ demand. Even after two decades, the memorable show is still carved in the audience’s hearts.

Nivedita Saraf, the actress who plays the role of Asawari in Zee Marathi‘s Agga Bai Sasubai recently shared a post on Instagram announcing the rerun of Hum Paanch. The actress described the show as her favourite and was excited to share the news. She also urged her fans to watch the show that will retelecasted on Zee TV. Interestingly, Nivedita’s husband Ashok Saraf is one of the lead actors on the show along with Vandana Pathak, Amita Nangia, Rakhee Tandon, Bhairavi Raichura and Vidya Balan. Ashok Saraf played the role of the father who finds himself in ridiculous situations thanks to his five troublesome daughters. The show became an iconic hit during the 90s owing to the light-hearted story.
