A piece of sad news has come to the limelight on December 30, 2021, superstar Salman Khan’s film’s Veer producer Vijay Gilani has passed away. According to the news, Vijay Gilani had been suffering a huge battle of cancer and he has had a successful career with successful films under his belt. Vijay Gilani has produced Salman Khan’s 1992 hit film Suryavanshi which had also featured Amrita Singh and Sheeba in the lead roles.

Also, he had produced 1998’s Achanak starring Govinda, Manisha Koirala, Farah Naaz, and Paresh Rawal. Also, the producer had collaborated with Akshay Kumar for his hit 2001 film, Ajnabi which had also featured Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles. For the unversed, Vijay Gilani had also introduced Zareen Khan in 2010, for her big B-Town career in the film, Veer.

Reportedly, Vijay Gilani’s last film was said to be Mahesh Manjrekar’s directorial The Power which had starred Vidyut Jammwal, Shruti Haasan, and Zakir Hussain in the lead roles. Also, the film had a digital release considering the pandemic situation. Also, Vijay Gilani’s kin includes a wife, son and daughter. According to the reports, Vijay Gilani’s son is heading back to London amid the grave situation. The producer was suffering from a long battle form and he breathed his last breath on December 30, 2021.

Also, Vijay Gilani had reportedly flown to the UK, London for his treatment, and the grave news of his passing away has taken the web by the storm and grabbed national headlines. The producer is well-known on B-Town and his passing away has sent fans in a state of shock and frenzy. Reportedly, the filmmaker had contracted cancer a few months ago and he was in the process of recovering via the treatment. Anil Sharma who was working with Vijay Gilani in the film, Veer had confirmed the news of his death to a leading portal. He had reported that Vijay was a good person and it was a great experience to work with him. Also, he added how his relationship with Vijay had always been good.
