One Year After Sushant Singh Rajput’s Heartbreaking Demise, How Far Has His Investigation Come?

On June 14, 2020, we all were hit with the devastating news that shook the entire nation. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was no more, and the world couldn’t believe it. While his death was already a hard pill to swallow, the notion that SSR committed suicide wasn’t one that was acceptable to his family or fans. And thus started the investigation of his death. Today, even after a year has passed, the question still remains the same if SSR committed suicide or was he murdered?’

Neither Sushant Singh Rajput‘s family nor his fans were ready to accept that the actor could commit suicide. They’ve been fighting from the moment the news of his death came out and are still continuing the same. His family believes their beloved Sushant is yet to get the justice he deserves as even CBI hasn’t given any statements lately. Meanwhile, SSR‘s fans are constantly trending in the actor’s support even today, making sure that the case doesn’t die down.

CBI investigation

After multiple demands and requests from family, friends and fans of the actor, Sushant‘s case was handed over to the CBI, by Mumbai police. Later, even the NCB got involved in the case and started booking various people related to the case including Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and his flatmate and friend Siddharth Pithani. According to recent reports, the CBI shared an update saying that the case isn’t closed and they’re trying their best to bring out the truth since they know SSR‘s family and fans are relying on it.

Nepotism debate

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is someone who made his own destiny. His films like Chhichhore not only won the National Award but also many hearts on the way. Thus, when such an amazing actor was alleged of suffering from mental illness, his death gave rise to many other cases such as the drug case and the nepotism debate in Bollywood.

Many blamed Karan Johar, Salman Khan and others for his depression due to not getting good work.
