After winning hearts with several shows like Kalyana Vaibhogam and Prema Entha Madhuram, ZEE5 is back with another show, Oohalu Gusa Gusalade, starting from May 10. At its core, the show is all about two people who are unwilling to believe that they can have a second chance at love. Abhiram and Vasundhara are betrothed, but only for their children.

The crux of Oohalu Gusa Gusalade
The story revolves around Abhiram and Vasundhara, who have been let down by life, in the aspects of love and marriage. Abhiram’s first wife is no more while Vasundhara has no answers to why her husband left her. Abhiram has twin daughters, while Vasundhara has a son. They only get married to give their children a complete family. They find themselves in problems related to parenting and relationships, more often than not. The plot focuses on busting the stigma of finding love for the second time in life and normalises the culture of step-parents, divorce, and remarriage.
The cast of Oohalu Gusa Gusalade
Oohalu Gusa Gusalade features Akul Balaji as Abhiram and Roopa as Vasundhara. Akul Balaji, whom you might have seen as the host of the horror show 13 – Fear is Real, has already gotten our curiosity levels high as he plays the serious Abhiram. Meanwhile, Roopa makes a comeback, after several hit serials like Geethanjali.

A little about Abhiram and Vasundhara
Abhiram is shaken and remains disturbed after the death of his first wife, while Vasundhara keeps feeding her insecurities as she silently blames herself for her husband leaving her. She doesn’t want to establish an emotional relationship with Abhiram and doesn’t consider herself any less than a man. Meanwhile, Abhiram has a strong moral compass, which he doesn’t compromise, even when on the losing end.
