ZEE5 has dealt with stories largely around family, through shows like Inti Guttu, and Kalyana Vaibhogam. With their latest show Oohalu Gusa Gusalade, they have an interesting aspect lined up, waiting to be explored. The show will be airing from May 10, and here are a few reasons why you cannot give it a miss.

1) Interesting premise

We have seen shows where strangers fall in love, but this will be the first time where a show will explore the concept of two strangers getting married, and not wanting to fall in love. The show revolves around Abhiram and Vasundhara who are widowed and divorced respectively. They get married for the sake of their children, which makes it all the more interesting.

2) A promising cast 

Akul Balaji and Roopa, are both making a comeback on Zee Telugu with Oohalu Gusa Gusalade. We have seen them earlier and loved their work. We can hardly wait to see the on-screen equation between them!

3) Dealing with a taboo

Oohalu Gusa Gusalade deals with the taboo of remarriage and finding love after losing one’s spouse. Especially with Vasundhara, whose husband leaves her without an explanation, it shows us how it can make divorced women highly insecure while they are fighting against the world. It also talks about how people are entitled to another chance at love.

It is rare for us to come across people like Abhiram and Vasundhara on-screen; especially, those who have given up on life and are living for their children. It will be refreshing to see strong people like Vasundhara who take what they want.

There are many people who have gone through heartbreaks and are finding it difficult to believe in love once again. The show will touch on several points where it talks about this, making it relatable for many people. Apart from this, it also talks about adjusting and settling in a new family, which is also not alien to us.
