The Oscars are a phenomenon that virtually inflates the Hollywood atmosphere. Every artist, whether a singer or an actor desires to win an Oscar at some point in their career. Even if they do not win, being considered for the nominations is a significant accomplishment that adds the brightest feather to their cap.
We saw some of the best songs from our up-and-coming and brilliant musicians this year, and there is no doubt that they were meant to be nominated for an Oscar. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recently unveiled the roster for the Oscars 2022 music section. There are some prominent singers who have been shortlisted for a prospective Oscar award, including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish, among others, with roughly 15 tracks making it to the nomination.

Ariana Grande is on the roster for her duet with Kid Cudi on the track Just Look Up from the forthcoming movie Don’t Look Up, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, and others. Billie Eilish’s No Time to Die, the James Bond theme tune, is also a strong frontrunner for Best Original Song at the Oscars.

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Dos Oruguitas from Encanto and U2’s Your Song Saved My Life from Sing 2 are among the additional tracks listed on the roster. Lin-Manuel Miranda will achieve EGOT glory if his Encanto song wins an Oscar, as he currently has an Emmy, Tony, and Grammy trophy for Hamilton.
