Payal Ghosh: “Anurag Kashyap Was Drinking When He Harassed Me”

Payal Ghosh has now said that Anurag Kashyap was drinking when he allegedly sexually harassed her. The actor had recently accused the ace director of forcing himself upon her. On being asked about Kashyap’s denial of the allegations, she said “He will deny it. I don’t care what he says. I have my truth and I have my Siddhivinayak.” As for the question of whether he was under the influence, she said, “Yes, he had been drinking.”

Ever since the Ghosh made the allegations, support started pouring in from Anurag’s friends in the industry. Everyone from Taapsee Pannu to his ex-wives Arti Bajaj and Kalki Koechlin have shown support for him, calling the allegations baseless. Kashyap has released a press statement through his social media channels in which his lawyer has said, “My client has been fully advised of his rights and remedies in law and intends to pursue them to the fullest extent.”
