Pink top, Bangs & Peace sign! Iconic retro look at the Met Gala by Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart brought the best of beauty to the 2021 Met Gala in an edgy and stylish outfit. The actor, who is in limelight for her upcoming movie ‘Spencer’, graced the Met’s red carpet with her appearance. She was seen rocking an intricate updo and ultra-glam makeup for the event, themed, “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”.

Kristen Stewart wore a pink Chanel jacket and white pants, which was enough to make her fans go wild on social media. A tiny black ribbon was gently knotted at her neck at the top of her collared coat. Hairstylist Adir Abergel gave her a beautiful pouf in the front and a high ponytail in the rear to complement the look. He further wrote on Instagram how he loved creating this moment for Kristen Stewart and that the ‘50s pinup girls’ was the inspiration.

When it came to makeup, the ‘Twilight’ star wore a dramatic smokey eye with long dreamy lashes topped off with nude lipstick. The Spencer star sported a 1970s-inspired Chanel outfit with a ruffled pink shirt and wide-legged white pants. She recently debuted a new hair color at the Venice Film Festival, which was loved by all. In a couple of pictures, she even flashed the peace sign to emphasize her era inspiration. 

With one fashion-forward outfit after another, the 31-year-old actor has been making quite the fashionable impression. Kristen Stewart’s prim and polite appearances have piqued interest in her next film ‘Spencer,’ in which she portrays the late Princess Diana. In 1996, the Princess of Wales made her one and only appearance at the Met Gala. She wore a pearl choker and navy-blue slip dress by John Galliano.
