Pooja Banerjee: Biography

Pooja Banerjee is an Indian television actress. She was first seen in MTV India’s Roadies. She then became a part of the show Star Plus’s show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She currently plays the role of Rhea Mehra in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya. Pooja is also a part of The Casino, where she plays an interesting role.

Early Life And Family:

Pooja was born on November 8, 1991, in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. Banerjee graduated from the Centre Point School and Hislop College in Nagpur City.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and did her Masters in English Literature. She also had represented Maharashtra in swimming competitions at the national level.

She swam the 5km sea race in the Arabian Sea and 14 km boat race at the Hooghly River. Banerjee also had participated in the Swim Team with a swimmer, Rewa Mathur.

Banerjee is hitched to the Olympic level swimmer Sandeep Sejwal. At the 2014 Asian Games conducted in Incheon, he finished third and earned the bronze medal in 50 m breaststroke. Late Pranab Mukherjee, the then President of India, provided him with the Arjuna award.

Pooja made a name for herself with MTV roadies 8 and became a well-known celebrity in television. She then went on to do shows like:
