The Malayalam serial Pookalam Varavayi holds a special place in our hearts due to its interesting characters and the fantastic storyline. Samyuktha (Mridhula Vijai) and Abhimanyu’s (Arun G Raghavan) relationship took some important twists and turns as they are still fighting after their marriage. #1 Samyuktha proposed to Abhimanyu during their on-going fight

Samyuktha knew the consequences of leading a life with Abhimanyu as he is known for his misogynistic ideals. She agreed to the marriage with him only because she has always been in love with him. Samyuktha also believes that she can change him into a better man with her love and care. Even during their on-going fight, Samyuktha had confessed her love for him because she knows that she can win his heart.

#2 Samyuktha is a supportive wife

Abhimanyu considers Samyuktha to be a waste of his time and their relationship unappealing to his status. He is mocked in the office for having to marry a girl from a poor household who is less educated. Samyuktha proves her critics wrong when she enters the office party wearing a beautiful red dress. She also speaks to everyone gathered in English to let them know that she is not uneducated and saves Abhimanyu’s pride.

#3 Abhimanyu needs to understand the truth

Samyuktha is the only one other than Ashokan in the Malayalam serial Pookalam Varavayi, who knows the truth behind the death of Abhimanyu’s parents. She is unable to tell Abhimanyu that it was his stepmother Sharmilla who killed his parents in a fake accident to steal their wealth. Samyuktha also fears that Abhimanyu might kick her out of the house thinking that she is lying. Abhimanyu will only accept Samyuktha’s love if he knows the truth. It will make him understand that she was trying to protect him all the while.

#4 Abhimanyu is wrong about Samyuktha’s intentions

Abhimanyu strongly believes that Samyuktha’s intention is to steal his properties and wealth. He thinks that because of her poor family background, her liking for him is only because she is eying his wealth. He also made a divorce contract owing to these reasons. He suggests his lawyer write a lump sum amount on Samyuktha’s name. Samyuktha has revealed several times in the past that she is not someone to dream of wealth or power; the only thing she wants from Abhimanyu is his love.
