Poonam Pandey’s Husband Sam Bombay Arrested For Assault; Actress Hospitalised After Suffering Serious Injuries

On Monday evening, actress Poonam Pandey filed a complaint against her husband Sam Bombay at Bandra Police Station. As per the reports, the actress accused her husband of assaulting her. After the actress filed a complaint against him, he was reportedly arrested by the officials. According to the news reports, the statement of Mumbai Police said in a tweet that actress Poonam Pandey’s husband, Sam Bombay, was detained in Mumbai after she accused him of assaulting her. Poonam Pandey was taken to the hospital for treatment. The cops are presently investigating the incident, and nothing much about the altercation between Poonam and Sam is known yet.

The case has been registered against Poonam’s husband Sam Bombay under the sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The actress suffered serious eye, head, and face injuries. In September 2020, soon after their marriage, Poonam had lodged a complaint against Sam for assaulting and molesting her.

For those who are unaware, Poonam Pandey has previously accused her husband of beating her. Poonam Pandey had filed a complaint in Goa just a few days after their wedding, last year, alleging that Sam had groped, intimidated, and abused her. Pandey was filming at Canacona village in South Goa at the time of the incident. The Goa police had arrested Sam Bombay after receiving the complaint, but he was reportedly released on bail the next day. Poonam had announced at the time that she was ending her marriage.

Poonam announced her engagement to Sam by posting a picture on her social media platform on July 27, 2020. Poonam Pandey, a model-turned-actor, married her long-time boyfriend in a secret ceremony on September 10. The Internet sensation made the news official by posting photos of their nuptials on Instagram, which caused quite a stir on social media.

The actress had filed a complaint of domestic violence against him. Soon after, Poonam reconciled with Sam and said, ‘Which marriage does not have its ups and downs?’
