Preeta Or Sherlyn: Whom Does Prithvi Love More In Kundali Bhagya?

We know Prithvi Malhotra (Sanjay Gagnani) to be the cunning villain who hides a completely evil self behind his crinkle-eyed, wide smile. His entry on the show as Preeta’s (Shraddha Arya) fiance was interesting and in a while, viewers discovered that he was also Sherlyn’s (Ruhi Chaturvedi) secret lover. When Sherlyn got engaged to Rishabh (Manit Joura), she was actually pregnant with Prithvi’s child. But over the course of the show, we have seen how Sherlyn is constantly insecure about her “Prithvi baby” as he starts adoring Preeta! After one point, his marriage to Preeta is no longer restricted to him taking his revenge but turns into his obsession instead. And this makes us wonder if he loves Sherlyn more or Preeta?

We know that Prithvi and Sherlyn were about to be married but they chose not to. Prithvi asked Sherlyn to become a member of the Luthra family so as to destroy them completely. But we think this is where his love for Sherlyn ends. He uses her more than he loves her. He is fine with her being Rishabh’s wife and is rarely seen getting jealous. Whereas with Preeta, he is always seething in anger when he sees Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Preeta together.

Prithvi even came back for Preeta

He got out of jail and tried to marry her again. When that did not work and she married Karan for the second time, Prithvi still found a way to be around her! He trapped Kritika (Twinkle Vasisht) and acted like he was a good person which made her marry him. Then, he entered the Luthra house as her husband! After entering the Luthra house, he tried to create a rift between Preeta and Karan so as to ensure that she gets back to him.

Prithvi killed Akshay

When Akshay was blackmailing Kritika, Preeta took charge of the situation. But when Akshay started misbehaving with Preeta, she hit him hard and ran. While the mystery around Akshay’s killer remains unsolved, we think Prithvi could be the one behind it. He confesses his love for Preeta in the recent episode and also reveals how he is willing to go to any lengths to protect her and save her, even if it means killing someone. This makes Preeta evidently suspicious.

But this won’t be the first time Prithvi has killed someone on the show. Earlier he has also killed Rithwik.

What has he done for Sherlyn?

While Prithvi is clearly attracted to Preeta for her simple beauty and kindness, he loves Sherlyn for her evil mind as it matches his own. But he has not done a lot for Sherlyn. Whatever he has done has been with her, and has mostly been to cover their tracks and keep their secrets hidden. For example, their multiple attempts to kill Janki, Mahesh and them trying to hide Sherlyn’s pregnancy report.

Even when Preeta and Karan were very close to discovering Sherlyn’s secret, he sent Mahira to not only send Karan away but to also keep him away from Preeta. While he has always tried to keep Preeta and Karan apart, he rarely takes any steps when it comes to Sherlyn and Rishabh.

It is clear that while Sherlyn is his true match and partner in every sense, Prithvi loves Preeta to the point of obsession. We wonder what will happen if and when Sherlyn realises this!
