Jennifer Lawrence drew a crowd to a Los Angeles screening of her new film Don’t Look Up. The actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney, wore a lime green shift dress that revealed her pregnant belly to the screening. At the screening, she posed with her Don’t Look Up co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
Jennifer posed against a Hollywood movie poster, beaming from ear to ear for the cameras. Leonardo was dressed in all black, while she paired her frock with a pair of bright pink heels. Their co-stars Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, and Ariana Grande, as well as director Adam McKay, were all present.
Jennifer couldn’t stop gushing over Ariana at the screening, according to Variety, and remarked, “She can’t make poor music.” Since then, I’ve thought about how I handled Ariana Grande. I went all out to win a radio contest. I was so excited and nervous that I just strolled into her hotel room and sat down at one point. I’ve been thinking a lot about it lately. I was like, ‘Do you live here?’ because there were so many trunks for her hair and cosmetics.’
Jennifer and Leonardo play astronomers who foretell the end of the world in Don’t Look Up. They discover that a comet is on its way to destroy the planet, but no one believes them. Even the President, represented by Meryl Streep, and her son, played by Jonah, aren’t immune.
Tyler Perry, Kid Cudi, Cate Blanchett, Timothee Chalamet, and Ron Perlman are among the cast members in Don’t Look Up. From December 24, the film will be available on Netflix. The film’s trailer was published earlier this month. The film’s director, Adam McKay, also wrote the screenplay.
Jennifer and Cooke announced in September that they are expecting their first child. The couple got engaged in February 2019 and married in October of same year in Rhode Island. Emma Stone, Kris Jenner, Amy Schumer, and Adele were among the guests at Jennifer and Cooke’s wedding reception party.
