Preity Zinta has been busy spending time cheering her IPL team Kings XI Punjab. The renowned cricket league is taking place in the UAE this year around amid ongoing the COVID-19 pandemic, adhering to all the precautions which are required to be followed. Preity recently posted a video on her Instagram where she can be seen taking a COVID-19 nasal swab test. In the video, the actress says that it is her 20th COVID test and jokes that she has become a ‘Covid test queen’. Check out the video below –
While sharing the video on Instagram, she shared an extended caption explaining what it is like being in the IPL team bio bubble which is designed to keep players and people related to the teams in a safe environment. Preity revealed that the precautionary steps start with going in a six-day quarantine which is coupled with COVID-19 tests every 3-4 days, people in the IPL teams and bio bubble are not allowed to go out of their designated area.

Her chefs and drivers have also been included in the bio bubble, as revealed by the actor herself in her caption. This means that food from outside is prohibited too besides having interactions with people being slashed out too. Though Preity listed down all the precautions she has to take in order to show support to her team, she expressed that she is grateful that the league is actually taking place in the middle of a pandemic.
Between showing her support to her co-owned team, the effervescent star also took a trip to her home in Los Angeles, to make an early return soon after. While being in the one-week quarantine period, she shared on Instagram that she was busy attending online yoga classes and working out in the gym. Now, during for the ongoing IPL tournament, a specialised gym has been set up for Preity and her team to work out in the hotel where they are staying in order to maintain COVID-19 restrictions. Earlier, she had shared a video from an empty IPL stadium writing that it felt strange to watch the match without a crowd.
