In the previous episode of Prema Entha Madhuram, after mocking Anu’s parents, Mansi keeps Rani’s luggage in Arya’s room. She later asks Rani to stay in Arya’s room, which infuriates Anu and leads to a few heated arguments.
In the next episode of Prema Entha Madhuram, Arya stops Anu from arguing with Rani. He then asks Anu to leave the room, which shocks her. Later, Arya decides to sleep on the terrace with Anu. He tells Rani that some privileges are earned with unconditional love and not claimed. Mansi is disappointed to learn about Arya leaving the room with Anu. In the morning, Rani brings coffee for Arya and asks him what he would like for breakfast.
Arya reprimands Anu for not taking care of her daily responsibilities, as it allowed Rani to take over them. While indirectly speaking to Rani, he warns Anu against being negligent and asks her to get coffee for him. Later, Anu plays a nostalgic tune on the Veena, making Arya reminisce about his past. While everyone is surprised by Anu’s skills as a musician, Arya addresses her as Nandini. Neeraj and Sharada Devi applaud Anu’s talent and thank her for the special morning surprise.
Arya admires the newness in Anu, whose hints don’t make any sense to Mansi. Everyone is surprised as neither Arya nor Anu’s parents know that she can play the Veena. Later, Padma says that Anu may have learned it while she was in college. Arya recalls Rajanandini playing the Veena and asks Rani to play the Veena to prove her identity. Anu questions Rani while she makes excuses. Arya tells Rani that she can never forget the art she loves. Unable to get away, Rani pretends to perform, while Mansi supports her.
