Prema Entha Madhuram: Arya’s mother is the most open-minded person on the show, here’s why

While we might have different opinions on love, people are rarely open-minded when it comes to the age difference between couples. While everyone in the Prema Entha Madhuram universe seems to be sceptical about this, Arya‘s mother, Sharada Devi believes that these factors do not mean a lot when people are in love.

When Arya and Anu’s family members discuss the age difference between a married couple, Sharada Devi believes that the age difference doesn’t matter at all, though Mansi and Subbu have different opinions.  Time and again, Sharada Devi has been supportive of Arya no matter what. When people say that there is a successful woman behind every man, we know that for Arya that woman has to be his mother. Be it his business or his personal life, she has never opposed his decisions.

At the same time, Arya is also respectful of her and keeps her above everyone. Unlike a lot of people in our society who wouldn’t encourage talking about their internal problems, Sharada Devi always lends an ear to Arya. She is certainly way ahead of her time and we need more parents like her!

While everyone from Jende to Arya’s brother says that age difference plays a huge role because the couple would not be able to understand each other if the age gap is too much, Sharada tells him that if there is understanding and shared values, any couple can stay together happily, and we completely agree with her! No wonder Arya respects her a lot.

She has seen the world and acts like it. She also possesses an open mind about most things that people wouldn’t even think about. She is certainly a force to reckon with and we understand now, where Arya gets his wisdom from.
