Prithviraj: Here’s All You Need To Know About Akshay Kumar’s Historical Drama

Actor Akshay Kumar will be seen in the upcoming period drama Prithviraj. The film was said to be a love story of Prithviraj Chauhan and Sanyogita but recent reports have stated that there will be some action scenes in the movie as well.

The movie Prithviraj will star Akshay Kumar as famous ruler Prithviraj Chauhan and Manushi Chhillar as Sanyogita in the lead roles. Manushi Chillar who is former Miss World will be making her acting debut with this movie. The movie is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yas Raj Films. The movie will also star actors like Sanjay Dutt, Ashutosh Rana and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. Initially, it was reported that the movie will be a love story of Prithviraj Chauhan and Sanyogita but according to the latest update by sources, there will be a battle sequence in the second half of the movie.

The movie Prithviraj was set to release on Diwali 2020 but got delayed due to a coronavirus pandemic. The shooting was resumed in October 2020 and its new release date was announced as November 5, 2021. The set of the movie was made in Madh Island, Mumbai but the shooting was later shifted to YRF Studios. Akshay Kumar has many upcoming films lined up for upcoming years. His movie Sooryavanshi was postponed due to COVID-19 and the audience is patiently waiting for its release. He will also be seen in films like Bell Bottom, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey and Ram Setu.
