Priyanka Chopra Gives This Reaction To Nick Jonas’ Post About His ‘Support System’ On Getting Diagnosed With Diabetes At 13 – DEETS INSIDE

In a detailed Instagram post on November 17, singer Nick Jonas revealed that he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a youngster. Nick, aged 29, was only 13 years old when he was stricken with diabetes, which he has battled for the past 16 years.

Nick Jonas stated in his post’s caption: “Today is the 16th anniversary of my diagnosis, thus it has a deep meaning for me. I was thirteen years old, and I was putting on concerts with my brothers when I  had a feeling things weren’t quite okay, so I rushed to my family and informed them that I needed to visit a doctor. My pediatrician diagnosed me with Type 1 diabetes after reviewing my symptoms. All of the signs pointed to an undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes.”

Nick Jonas added, recalling how distraught he was as a 13-year-old: “I was heartbroken and terrified… Was this to say that my ambition of traveling the world and performing our art had to come to an end? But I was determined, as I had always been, not to let anything bring me down.” “There are challenging times,” Nick said, “but I have an unbelievable support system I can trust on them to push throughout by not being tough with myself when I’m feeling a bit down.” Priyanka Chopra, who is now in London, replied with a heart-eye and clapping hands emoticon to her husband’s tweet. Paul Kevin Jonas, Nick’s father, said: “That was a day we will never forget. You are an inspiration to all of us. I love you.”
