Priyanka Chopra Split Beans On Length Of Her Role In The Matrix Resurrections; PeeCee Defends Herself

Priyanka Chopra is a global star who has fans in both Bollywood and the Hollywood industry. She is currently enjoying the success of her recently released film The Matrix Resurrections. After the release of the film, a news article on her 8-10 minute appearance in The Matrix Resurrections surfaced on the Internet. Earlier her mother Dr. Madhu Chopra had defended the length of Priyanka’s role. Now, the actress herself has opened up about the same.

In an interaction with the leading daily, Priyanka Chopra opened up and said that she thinks one is coming from something which the majority of people from the South Asian community ask her, ‘Oh, it’s a small role, it’s not a leading role. Why did you do it?’ The actress answered that it is The Matrix, and she played an incredibly pivotal part.

Further, in the conversation, the actress added that even when she picked her movies in Bollywood, Priyanka always picked roles according to characters and they are didn’t have to be always the lead. She also shredded light on the lead role, she informed that the lead role is played by Carrie-Anne Moss, who recreated Trinity in the last three movies. Priyanka also added that she is not competing with that and she thinks it is such a shortsighted and very trimmed mentality to think that way.

In the same conversation, Priyanka Chopra added that this is a choir of incredible actors and she also thinks by asking that question, one reduces the grandiosity of being a part of the playground of recreating with such incredible people. She also added that if one looks at Priyanka’s career in Bollywood. Priyanka said that whether it is Bajirao Mastani, Barfi, Kaminey, there are so many movies that she has done that are not about her. The fact is she just loves playing with great talent. In the end, PeeCee added that she loves being on the playground with incredible people. She is not very shortsighted when it comes to her characters, especially not The Matrix.
