Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam Is Desi Noir Anthology On ZEE5; It Is Sure To Break All Stereotypes – Deets Inside

Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam is the new crime thriller web series that got premiered on ZEE5. The desi noir anthology series of six episodes revolve around the lives of women, who will stop at nothing to save selves from the situation they are in and harm the bars. It is directed by British Indian director Meenu Gaur. The latest web series features g Ahsan Khan, Osman Khalid Butt, Sheheryar Munawar, Saleem Mairaj, Samiya Mumtaz. The web series also stars Sanam Saeed, Sarwat Gilani, Mehar Bano, Faiza Gillani, Beo Raana Zafar and Eman Suleman.

Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam, written by Farjad Nabi is set in the timeless streets of Androon Sheher, a mythical neighborhood. It sheds light on tales of love, lust, power, and deliverance woven in a trap of betrayal, angst, and revenge. As mentioned earlier, in the six-episode web series, each story represents the courage of women and their resolution to avenge trickery. The root of the stories is an enigma, uncertainty, conspiracy with wrenching conclusions.

The creator and director of the anthology web series, Meenu Gaur told a leading portal that the idea for the show was like an outflowing for her and it is no wonder that the stories presented are about all that which overflows within as women. It has everything from love, affection, dream, confidence, fury, payback, and trajectory.

She also said that with the superiority of male-centric regard particularly in the noir genre, Meenu was willing to research a new understanding, one which is told from the viewpoint of the much-maligned femme fatale (Qatil Haseena) characters. On an ending note, the director said that the web series is an attempt to update the sexism of film noir and stretch hands at feminist noir.

The co-writer of the web series, Farjad Nabi informs a leading daily that Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam is meant to say bye to the prey lady as seven Fatales get their way through techniques that are spontaneous, sometimes frightening, and always liberating. Adding more to it, she said that she is glad that the show is premiering on the Zee5 platform that concentrates on conveying multifarious and powerful stories for the multinational audience.
