Zee 5’s upcoming film Raat Baaki Hai‘s first teaser was released on Thursday, October 29, 2020. It introduces the lead character of the film and seems to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Raat Baaki Hai’s teaser also gives a peek into the lives of Kartik and Vasuki, two estranged lovers stuck in the middle of a high-profile investigation. The film will premiere on Zee 5 on Friday, November 20, 2020.

Raat Baaki Hai teaser review

The teaser introduces the central characters of the film- Kartik, Vasuki, and Vaani to the audience. Kartik played by Anup Soni is a boy-next-door who is head over heels in love with Vaani. On the other hand, Vaani is a charming woman who lures men with her good looks. Rahul Dev’s character and Vasuki play the role of a catalyst in the lives of Kartik and Vaani, who enter their lives on a dark and gloomy night.

Raat Baaki Hai is a suspense-thriller that will depict an intriguing tale of love, deceit and revenge. The story starts with Vaani’s (Dipannita) murder on a chilling night in Rajasthan. Kartik who becomes the prime suspect in the murder investigation finds respite in his ex-lover Vasuki (Paoli). However, Vasuki, whom Karthik left to pursue his dream, has a few secrets dug deep inside her heart.

Raat Baaki Hai, starring Anup Soni, Paoli Dam, Dipannita Sharma, and Rahul Dev in the lead, narrates the tale of Kartik, Vasuki, and Vaani entangled in a complicated relationship. The upcoming film is based on Atul Satya’s famous play Ballygunje-1990, which garnered massive appreciation from audiences. Interestingly, Anup Soni played the lead role in Ballygunje-1990 too. This whodunit murder mystery is directed by Avinash Das of She (2020) fame.

Raat Baaki Hai is written by Siddharth Mishra who has previously written scripts of Zee5 series like Rangbaaz (2018), 377 AbNormal (2019), among others. Meanwhile, Manoj Soni will be handling the camera, and music band Jam 8 will be composing the music. Raat Baaki Hai will premiere on Zee5 soon.
