RadheShyam Teaser creates a buzz on micro-blogging site ahead of its October 23 release
TollywoodFans of Prabhas are super-excited ahead of the October 23 release of his period romantic film Radhe Shyam. The day also marks the 42nd Birthday of the actor.
Even before the much-touted #RadheShyamTeaser is released on October 23 at 11.16 am, fans of Prabhas are super excited. Prabhas fans have every reason to be excited for October 23 also marks the 42nd birthday of the Baahubali and Sahoo star.
Their excitement is also understandable in that the above hashtag is trending and expectations are that the actual release in a little over 36-hours from now, will see the microblogging site explode. Expectations are also that this teaser will surpass records of all previous teasers released for this actor’s forthcoming release.
Director Ajay Pershetty was super excited at the upcoming teaser and said the film will open up the gates of Hollywood to this actor. If a fan said they can’t wait for October 23, another fan wondered if this was Prabhas way of giving a birthday treat to the rest of them. Prabhas who earlier on Wednesday was on Instagram to share a new poster of the film revealed that the teaser will be released on October 23.
If the earlier promos showed Prabhas as a mild-mannered and romantic hero, the latest poster adds to the actor’s aura in which he is seen in a serious mood. The teaser, as the actor himself revealed will be in English and have subtitles in different languages.
Slated for a global release on Sankranti day of January 14, 2022, this film under the UV Creations Banner is helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar with the backing of Gulshan Kumar and T-Series pockets.
The film will see Pooja Hegde opposite Prabhas with Sachin Khedkar, Krishnam Raju, Priyadarshi, Bhagyashree, Murali Sharma, Satyan and Kunal Roy Kapur in important roles. Justin Prabhakaran has scored the music. Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao and Manoj Paramhas are the editor and cinematographers for this period romantic drama set in Europe of the 1970s.
Radhe Shyam is also the first time that Prabhas has starred opposite Pooja Hegde, the second runner-up at the Miss Universe India 2010 competition. Like most projects delayed in these pandemic times, Radhe Shyam is hitting the screens almost six months down the line. The makers had originally planned to release the film earlier in July.
