Rahul Raj Singh Accuses Vikas Gupta For Using Pratyusha Banerjee’s Name To Be In The Limelight!

In a recent interview, TV producer Vikas Gupta claimed that he dated late actor Pratyusha Banerjee. He shared how people spoke “bad” about him to Pratyusha and thus, the latter decided to call off their relationship. Also, Vikas said that he saw Rahul Raj Singh eating chips outside the hospital when Pratyusha died by suicide. And this has certainly sparked a new controversy, altogether! Reacting to these statements, Rahul has accused Vikas of cooking up stories for the sake of “publicity”.

In an interview with a leading daily, Rahul said that he will be taking legal action against Vikas Gupta for making defamatory statements against him. Also, he quashed Vikas’ claims of dating Pratyusha. “Pratyusha never dated Vikas, so the question of them parting ways doesn’t arise. In fact, they weren’t even on talking terms after a point. He shouldn’t cook up stories for publicity. Pratyusha would have slapped him had she been alive” Rahul was quoted saying.

Rahul also talked about his relationship with Pratyusha, stating that she was quite open about her relationships and never hid her personal life. He claimed that Vikas had proposed Pratyusha when the two of them were working for ‘Power Couple’. The latter had denied Vikas’ proposal.

Also, Rahul shared that he had asked Pratyusha why she did not take up any projects after Balika Vadhu. She had answered him saying that Vikas had planned a project with her which was later scrapped. Well, it remains to be seen how Vikas reacts to these allegations made by Rahul.

For those unversed, Pratyusha was a renowned television star. The actor rose to fame with the show Balika Vadhu. In 2016, she died by allegedly committing suicide at her residence in Goregaon. Pratyusha’s boyfriend Rahul was accused of abetment to suicide. Later on, he was granted bail by the Bombay High Court.
