Raj Kundra was arrested in connection with an adult film racket in July 2021. Along with him, the Mumbai police also arrested five other people for supposedly forcing women into porn videos. It was reported that these people would assure the girls that after shooting for them they will get an opportunity to feature in the high profile Bollywood film. The girls were from the rural parts of the country and had dreams of making a career in the entertainment industry. According to the reports of the leading portal, Raj Kundra and his companions took the advantage of the same for their own benefit.

After shooting the pornographic film with the girls, they made them open on mobile apps. They even offer subscriptions along the lines of digital media platforms. As the creation of pornographic content is illegal in India Raj Kundra with his other companions were arrested by the Mumbai Police. During the investigation, the UK production house was discovered to be uploading the alleged content. This came under the radar of police and its executive Umesk Kamat was nabbed and put in prison. According to the police officials, it was Raj Kundra’s alleged connection with Umesh Kamat and the company that uploaded such pornographic content. As a result, Raj Kundra was also arrested by the officials.

Later on September 21, the businessman was released from Arthur Road jail. On September 20, 2021, Raj Kundra was granted bail in a pornography case by Mumbai’s magistrate court. This happened after providing a bond of Rs 50,000. He recently made his first public appearance after stepping out of jail.
