When a woman gets married and moves to her in-law’s place, she hopes she can confide and gain support from her mother-in-law. While some are lucky enough to get a mother figure in their mother-in-law like Kyun Rishton Me Katti Batti’s Shubhra (Neha Marda) has Chandrani and Kundali Bhagya‘s Preeta (Shraddha Arya) has Rakhi, some are unfortunate like Rani (Megha Ray) to get mother-in-law like Rajeshwari who is always trying to demean her and throw her out of Veer’s life. Hence we think Chandrani and Rakhi can very well teach Apna Time Bhi Aayega‘s Rajeshwari how to be a good mother-in-law.

Supportive
A mother-in-law’s support in a household is extremely vital for their daughter-in-law. It helps them overcome the criticism and problems they face in the in-law’s house. Chandrani and Rakhi seem to know this as they are extremely supportive of their daughters-in-law and they always stand by them in every aspect of life. Rajeshwari on the other hand has always tried to create hurdles in Rani’s life and she is also the reason why Veer and Rani are yet to experience marital bliss. We hope Rajeshwari learns to be more encouraging of Rani’s actions in future and help Veer and Rani’s bond grow stronger.
Strict and Selfless
Chandrani and Rakhi have always been a very fair voice of reason in their sons’ lives. They never hesitate to tell their sons whenever they commit any mistake and discipline them for it. In one of the episodes, when Kuldeep tells Chandrani that he is in a relationship with Samaira, Chandrani twists his ears and tells him that he is making a mistake by abandoning Shubhra. Rajeshwari is the exact opposite of Chandrani as she always tries to hide the mistakes committed by her son. She made Ramadheer take the blame for the accident committed by someone else (either her or Vikram). She has been trying to exploit Ramadheer and Rani for her own selfish interests.
Virtuous
Preeta and Shubhra’s mother in law, Rakhi and Chandrani as extremely guided by their morals and values. They always praise and encourage their daughters-in-law for all the good deeds they do and object against those who try to harm them. Rajeshwari is the one who plots and plans on how to remove Rani from the Rajawat household, instead of protecting her from evil. In many instances, she has tried to frame Rani for crimes she didn’t commit, but each time her plans have failed miserably and Rani has succeeded to protect herself from Rajeshwari’s traps. We hope Rajeshwari stops making Rani’s life more difficult and starts concentrating on improving her own moral conscious.
Impartial
Chandrani and Rakhi have never differentiated between their daughters-in-law and other members of the family on any basis. They have always treated Shubhra and Preeta as their own daughter and have helped in all their needs. Rajeshwari on the other hand has never missed an opportunity to insult Rani for belonging to the lower financial strata. She has always called Rani the servant girl and that is why she does not think that she is good enough for Veer. We can only hope that she let goes of these regressive ideas and accepts Rani with a whole heart.
Stand up for the right
Chandrani and Rakhi have never supported any other relationship other than the legitimate bond of marriage. While Chandrani has expressed her dislike for Samaira and Kuldeep’s relationship, Rakhi has also time and again reminded Mahira that she does not have any right over Karan and that Preeta is the rightful daughter-in-law of the Luthra family. But Rajeshwari has always encouraged Kiara’s closeness with Veer even after he got married to Rani. She even went to the extreme of inviting Kiara for Rani’s birthday. We think Rajeshwari should stop indulging in such petty things and start accepting Rani as her daughter-in-law.
