BollywoodTaking to Instagram, Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee gave us an insight into Rajkummar Rao And Patralekhaa’s wedding trousseau while sharing some pictures from their wedding album
After being in love for 11 years, Bollywood couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa got hitched for eternity to each other on November 15, 2021. The duo got tied the knot in a Hindu ceremony looking ethereal in Sabyasachi ensembles. While the congratulations are for the couple, pictures from Raj and Patralekhaa’s wedding album have been shared by designer Sabyasachi as they were a Sabyasachi bride and groom and we can’t take our eyes off.
For his wedding, Rajkummar Rao wore an embroidered raw silk ivory jacket with gold plated Bengal tiger buttons paired with a Bangalore silk kurta and churidar. He completed his look with handcrafted Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery in strands of cultured Japanese pearls, red safa, and tan-brown mojri. His now-wife Patralekhaa, looked classy and beautiful with personalized details to make it her own. Bride Patralekhaa opted for a red tulle embroidered buti sari paired with an embroidered veil. Her veil has inscribed with a Bengali verse penned by Sabyasachi for the couple to mark their special day. The quote on her veil read, “Amar Poran Bhora Bhalobasha Ami Tomae Sompurno Korilam” in Bengali. And it means, “I give all my love entirely to you.”
For the jewelry, Patralekhaa chose Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery made in 22k gold with uncut diamonds, pearls, and emeralds. Patralekhaa rounded off her look with minimal makeup including light pink lipstick, red-white bindi over the eyebrows, jhumkas, nath, mathapatti, and a small red bindi. The Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee shared a couple of pictures from their wedding ceremony in Chandigarh. While a few saw them posing together, other snaps see them showing off their wedding ensemble.
This morning, Farah Khan took to her Instagram and shared a few inside snaps from the wedding- one of which also sees her making Raj wear his safa. Coming back to their dreamy pics from the fairy tale wedding, well, we already can’t get enough of their lovey-dovey pics, can you?
