Akshay Kumar is a versatile actor in the Bollywood industry who is on a roll to complete the shoots of his upcoming films. He has been following busy shoot schedules these days. The actor has wrapped up shooting for his films like Bell Bottom, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, and Prithviraj at the start of the pandemic. Now, he is pulling his sleeves to commence the shoot of his other films. It is now reported by a leading daily that the actor will soon wrap up the shoots of his films Raksha Bandhan and Cinderella.
In Raksha Bandhan, Akshay Kumar will share the screen space with Bhumi Pednekar. Right now, Akshay Kumar is in Delhi to start shooting for the next schedule of Aanand L Rai directorial Raksha Bandhan. He took to his social media accounts and shared a video from the sets of the movie. Akshay Kumar is excited to shoot in his hometown Chandi Chowk, Delhi.
In the video shared by Akshay Kumar, he can be seen giving his running shots in the busy marketplace. He captioned his Instagram post as “Today’s morning run on the sets of #RakshaBandhan brought back so many memories as as it was in my birthplace, Chandni Chowk. And how lovely it was to hear the chatter of the people around, never gets old”.
A source informed a leading daily that Akshay Kumar completed a 28-day schedule of Cinderella in London and straight away air dashed to Delhi to commence work on the final leg of Aanand L Rai’s Raksha Bandhan. Akshay Kumar finishes work on this film by October 15 and will be off to Shimla for another schedule of Cinderella the source said. It’s a 10-day shoot at real locations from October 18, before finally calling it a film wrap, added the source.
Reportedly, Akshay will start shooting for his appearance in the Oh My God sequel with Pankaj Tripathi. The same source went on to add that it’s just a 15-day work for Akshay Kumar in OMG 2. The actor will complete the social comedy and then work on an ambitious action adventure, Ram Setu is what the source added further. Interestingly, the Abhishek Sharma directorial film will be shot over a period of 40 days in Sri Lanka from Mid-November.
Coming January will see Akshay Kumar kicking off director Raj Mehta’s upcoming drama, Driving License. Akshay is also pulling his sleeves for the theatrical release of Rohit Shetty’s cop film, Sooryavanshi.
