Raksha Bandhan Special: Deshveer-Nimrat, Emily-Nawab And Other Siblings Of Zee Punjabi

One of the most awaited festivals in India is Raksha Bandhan. On this day, a brother swears to protect his sister from all the world’s evils and the sister ties a thread of trust on her brother’s wrist. Zee Punjabi has some adorable duos of siblings. Let’s take a look at them.

1. Deshveer-Nimrat 

This duo from Kamli Ishq Di gives us major #SiblingsGoals. Nimrat (Ritika) is Deshveer’s (Jashn Kohli) emotional anchor. Deshveer can hide his troubles, sufferings, and conflicts from everyone except Nimrat. Nimrat not only supports Deshveer, but she safeguards him from her mother, Lalli (Kavita Sharma). She encourages him to do better and motivates him to fight every battle with his head held high.

2. Emily-Nawab

Vilayti Bhabhi‘s Emily (Isha Gupta) has one loyal supporter and admirer, Nawab (Gursewak Singh). As soon as Emily enters Sandy’s (Kanwalpreet Singh) home, she finds a brother in Nawab. Nawab also addresses Emily as ‘Sister Ji.‘ Emily respects Nawab too. When Gulab kicks Nawab out, Emily is the one who is keen to bring back Nawab at any cost.

3. Rajwant-Loveleen

This sibling duo from Tu Patang Main Dor proves that even siblings can have wildly different personalities and choices. Rajwant (Ganni Shergill) and Loveleen (Surinderjit Kaur) are both children of Jagtaar Singh. Rajwant hates Amandeep and his family, like his father, but Loveleen is a friend of Amandeep and she respects his family too.

4. Mahi-Vikram

This is another duo of Kamli Ishq Di which embodies the ideal sibling relationship. Mahi (Shehnaz Saher) and Vikram (Vansh Bindra) are just like us. They fight with each other, pull each other’s legs, try to outdo each other at being their mother’s favourite child, but when the time comes, they stand for each other and face problems bravely.

5. Zarina-Jaffar

Do you think Rajwant and Loveleen are distant? Check out this duo from Tu Patang Main Dor. Zarina (Chetna Singh) has a step-brother, Jaffar (Manav). Zarina loves and cares for Jaffar, as if he were related to her by blood. But Jaffar is just like his mother, Jamila (Anjali Sharma)–rude, arrogant, and jealous of Zarina. Jaffar likes to see Zarina getting humiliated. Jaffar complains about Zarina unnecessarily, just to create trouble for her!
