Having siblings is a boon and a curse

Right from hitting you to making your life hell, annoying siblings teach you to be strong and be patient with your frustration. Having siblings in life is a boon as they bring out the best in you. Having annoying siblings can prove to be a curse at times as well, causing a lot of tension in the family. Are you wondering how to have a better and smoother relationship with your siblings? Here is a list of things that you can learn from Zee TV and ZEE5 shows on how to deal with annoying siblings.

Watch an episode from Kumkum Bhagya here:

1. Talk to them directly

The best way to deal with your annoying sibling is to talk to them directly and understand their issues. One needs to have an assertive approach rather than being defensive. In Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain show, Bani and Nikki are always seen fighting and arguing with each other. But Nikki does respect her elder sister’s point of view and Bani often takes advice from Nikki. Right from talking about Bani’s broken marriage with Arya to Nikki’s poker habits, the siblings share a communicative bond.

2. A good relationship with parents

In Zee TV’s popular show Kumkum Bhagya, Prachi and Rhea, who live with separated parents, have a good upbringing. Prachi, who stays with Pragya, and Rhea, who stays with her father Abhi, have an inseparable bond with their parents. Prachi and Rhea often get into fights and annoy each other, however, their parents are always there to offer words of advice.

3. Move on from the fights

The trick here is to learn your sibling’s limits. Annoying your sibling and teasing them is fun, but you can’t let it get out of hand. You will have loads of fun together and will laugh with each other if you can get past the discord. In Kundali Bhagya, Preeta and Srishty’s bond has grown with time but the two still get into fights. Preeta and Srishty teach the viewers to move on in life despite having a bad fight with your siblings, because at the end of the day, what matters is the love you have for one another.

4. Show your love

We know you love your sibling to the core and care about them a lot. You must show them that you trust them and they can rely on you no matter what. Having each other’s backs is one of the best things a sibling bond can ask for. In Qubool Hai, Asad loves his younger sister Najma a lot but fails to express his emotions. Asad, who is a bit shy, has a lot of love for his sibling, but his relationship with her suffers because he never expresses it.

5. Always have your sibling's back

Being with your sibling in a good mood is good, but being with them in a bad mood and making them smile is way better. In Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, Guddan and Revati stand with each other in the worst scenarios. when AJ throws Guddan out of his house, Revati helps her sister get back into Jindal Bhavan and prove herself right.
