Gowariker’s film is set to begin production in Mumbai in early December. Rakul will join the shoot after the completion of her film Chhatriwali.

According to reports, South Indian actor Jagapathi Babu will play the antagonist in the film. This will be Babu’s first Bollywood film, and he will play a parallel lead alongside Akhtar.
