Rakulpreet Singh’s Banana Chocolate Oatmeal Cookie Is The Ideal Snack For All Your Cravings

Ever since the lockdown began, we haven’t stepped outside or have had a chance to relish our favourite meals. While most of us are trying our hand at cooking, we surely do miss outside food. And how can we forget desserts! There is no replacement for it. However, Rakulpreet has come to our rescue with an easy and delicious recipe which will cure all our timeless food cravings.

Rakul recently made Banana Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies. It is healthy and tasty. More importantly, it’s a simple recipe that anyone can ace and enjoy. Here’s your fool-proof reason to stop munching on mindless snacks and make the most of what you have.

Start by taking two ripe bananas in a bowl, and mash them well. Remember to maintain a thick consistency, so do not blend it. To this, add a cup of oats, you can choose rolled or steel-cut oats as per your preference.

Mix the two ingredients well. At this point, add whatever ingredients you enjoy, such as dry fruits or nuts and seeds. Rakul added a handful of Muesli, and you can do the same.

Next step is the one which delights everyone, and that is adding chocolate. Add two spoonfuls of cocoa powder along with some grated chocolate. If your sweet tooth demands for more, feel free to add some honey or maple syrup to it.

Once again, combine everything well to achieve a thick dough. Now, take a pan and grease it well with butter or oil. For this recipe, you do not need to hunt for a piece of parchment paper.

Make small balls of the dough and flatten them in circles, this allows it to cook evenly. Pop it into the oven for about 30 mins. And then, munch on!
