Ram Charan to have this famous Malayalam actor as a villain for his upcoming film

Shankar’s Telugu directorial debut ‘Vishambhara’ that stars Ram Charan and Kiara Advani has roped in Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi to play the role of the antagonist in the film, as per reports

The much anticipated film that marks the Telugu directorial debut of the famous Tamil director, Shankar, ‘Vishwambhara’, as it is tentatively called, has been creating a lot of buzz since its inception.  The film’s cast includes Telugu superstar Ram Charan and actress Kiara Advani in lead roles. There were many speculations around who will play the role of the antagonist in the film and as per recent reports Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi has been roped in for this role.

Actor-politician Gopi has previously worked with director Shankar in 2015 in the Tamil action-thriller ‘I’ that was written and directed by Shankar. The creators of ‘Vishwambhara’ are anticipated to make an official announcement on Suresh Gopi’s casting soon.

‘Vishambhara’ was previously referred to as RC15 as it is the 15th film of the megastar Ram Charan. As per recent reports the film’s shooting has commenced in Pune and the film is further reported to have the most expensive song in Telugu film history.

Actress Esha Gupta will also be a part of this project and is reported to be cast opposite Suresh Gopi. They will play husband and wife in the film and will be seen in negative roles.

The film will be shot on a huge budget and has been produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and the music of the film will be composed by music director Thaman S. The cast of the film also includes actors like Anjali, Jayaram, Srikanth, Naveen Chandra, Sunil, and others.

According to reports Vishwambhara, which is a political thriller will have its plot around a government employee and his journey to become the Chief Minister of an Indian state. Shankar previously helmed the film ‘Mudhalvan,’ that showcased the journey of a journalist who takes on the role of Chief Minister for a day. Vishwambhara is now being seen as a successor to Mudhavalan, a Telugu film released in 1999 that was then recreated in Bollywood as ‘Nayak,’ starring Anil Kapoor.
