Ram Gopal Varma is considered to be one of the best directors of Indian cinema, who gave us some of the best gangster dramas like Satya, D, and Company. However, in recent times, his filmography has changed for the worse and has failed to appeal to a majority of the audience. His upcoming release, Dangerous, also seems to be walking on the same lines.
After Ram Gopal Varma released the trailer and posters of Dangerous, he received a lot of criticism for his poor depiction of a homosexual relationship. The trailer shows that the protagonists, played by the actresses Naina Ganguly and Apsara Rani, fell in love with each other because they were mistreated by men. This has made a lot of people tweet to him, pointing out the fact that ‘bad experiences’ do not ‘change’ a person’s sexuality.
