Ranbir Kapoor To Reunite With Imtiaz Ali For Their Third Project Together

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali who had hit a speedbump in his career is all set to bounce back with a new film. The director’s last two films had unfortunately bombed at the box-office. Imtiaz Ali, who is often celebrated for his unique style of filmmaking is set to make a strong comeback with yet another of his powerful script and is rumoured to have approached Ranbir Kapoor. The actor-director duo who already has two hit movies in their basket is set to make a third project together.

According to reports, Imtiaz is currently working on two projects simultaneously. While one is a biopic on controversial musician Amar Singh Chamkila’s life, the other is a social film that works around the idea of suicide. The director had several actors wanting to team up with Imtiaz on his projects. However, the Love Aaj Kal director chose to go ahead with his hit actor Ranbir Kapoor. It remains unclear as to which particular project did Ranbir say yes to.

If all goes well, this will be the third time the director-actor duo comes together. While both their earlier projects, Rockstar and Tamasha weren’t box-office hits, the films brought a lot of credibility to Ranbir as an actor who stunned with his terrific performances. Ranbir Kapoor, who has been on a dry spell for some time is all set to make a bounce back too.

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on a bunch of movies like Luv Ranjan’s romantic entertainer and a thriller drama named Animal. He will also be seen in Brahmastra alongside actor-girlfriend Alia Bhatt which is expected to release in 2022.
