In preview for the next premiere episode of the latest Zee Bangla TV serial Rani Rashmoni, we see that at Rajabahadur’s court, the governor pronounces that ultimately justice will be done, and those who deserve certain rights will have them granted. He says that both the parties– those in favour as well as against– all have valid points to make when it comes to the question of widowed women being permitted by law to re-marry, and both will be given due importance.

However, we also see Vidyasagar rise up indignantly shortly after, and claim that he has totally lost faith in Rajabahadur and his jurisdiction! He calls out the King and his men angrily for the lack of empathy and logic, while the Rani looks dejected. Does this mean that they have voted against the new law to be passed?
