From Simmba to Murad in Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh makes every character he plays look so believable and we cannot wait to watch him again in 2020.

Ranveer Singh stamped his authority on the year 2019 with his films Simmba, which released in December 2018, and Gully Boy. He is set to star in two huge films in 2020 that will play a major role in determining if Hindi cinemas and movie theatres will recover from the Covid-19 lockdown. He is set to reprise his role as Simmba in ‘Sooryavanshi’ and he will be playing the role of Kapil Dev in the film 83, based on India’s first Cricket World Cup win. We cannot pick a better actor to get the audiences back in theatres.

Watch his award-winning debut song Apna Time Aayega on ZEE5.

Ranveer Singh has steadily established himself as one of the biggest superstars in Hindi cinema today. While he is famous for his loud and extravagant personality, there’s no role that seems out of character for him. If he can play the over the top character like Simmba he also aced the subdued role in Lootera. He looks equally at ease playing the role of a spoilt uber-rich son in Dil Dhadakne Do and a rapper from the poorest parts of Mumbai in Gully Boy.

Gully Boy is an important film in Ranveer Singh’s career because he also voiced for many of the songs from the film. His debut track Apan Time Aayega became widely popular and won him many popular music awards too. He is also one of the iconic dancers in Bollywood who has his own unique dance style. At the Zee Cine Awards he dedicated his performance to Govinda, Shammi Kapoor and other stars who inspired him to dance.

Ranveer Singh is known for getting into the skin of his characters and inspiring his co-stars to elevate their performances seen in Padmaavat and Gully Boy. However, he also knows how to let his hair down and come up with zany and funny antics that will completely surprise everyone. Remember when he starred in a five-minute-long ad as ‘Ranveer Ching’ with Rohit Shetty and Tamanaah Bhatia?

He is one of the few actors who has the audience’s attention with every new role he chooses. We cannot wait to see his two big releases in 2020 in the theatres and wish him all the luck.
