Comedy Couple is a romantic comedy film releasing on 21 October 2020. Saqib Saleem and Shweta Basu Prasad play the romantic lead pair in the film who are also aspiring stand-up comedians. The experience of performing as a duo while living through the regular drama that comes with every relationship promises to be an interesting dynamic the film will explore.

The story of couple performing as stand-up comedy duos is quite a rare sight. In fact, Bharti Singh one of the funniest comedians on TV today, might be the only comedian who performs with her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa. They both amplify the playful aspects of their relationship where she gets to brutally roast him on TV and he pretends to want to leave her for another woman.

Another example of a husband and wife both performing comedy is Krushna and Kashmeera. Krushna Abhishek gained popularity performing as a duo with Sudesh Lahiri on Comedy reality shows, Kashmera Shah herself was an established actress before they were married. However, both these powerhouse comedy performers entertained audiences in films like Entertainment.
