Real-Life Encounter Specialist Anirudh Singh Is All Readied For His Big Bollywood Debut, Deets Inside
A 41-year-old police officer hailing from Uttar Pradesh is all readied for his big Bollywood debut. Anirudh Singh, a circle inspector in Budaun, will be seen playing a crucial role in Bhuj: The Pride Of India.
Since the dawn of cinema, we have seen many actors stepping into the shoes of cops. And the vice versa of this scenario is quite rare and unheard of. However now, get set to witness it through the upcoming Bollywood flick ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’. A 41-year-old police officer hailing from Uttar Pradesh is all readied for his big Bollywood debut. Anirudh Singh, a circle inspector in Budaun, will be seen playing a crucial role in ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’.
Fondly known as ‘Dabangg’ cop, Anirudh Singh is an encounter specialist of Uttar Pradesh Police. He made headlines when a south-based filmmaker spotted him on a crowd control duty and decided to launch him in films. And that marked a new beginning for Singh who made his acting debut with the 2017 Telugu film ‘Dr. Chakravarthy’. Now, Singh is geared up for the release of his first Bollywood film. He will be seen playing the role of Sanjay Dutt’s younger brother in ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’.
While embarking on his film career Singh also took care that his police duty is not affected. After completing his regular duty schedule, Singh would return to the sets of Bhuj: The Pride Of India. Director Abhishek Dudhaiya recalls that despite being off-duty, Singh would constantly check upon with his colleagues. “His role could have been longer but he decided to return to duty,” Abhishek explains.
Talking about his police career, Anirudh Singh joined forces in 2001. Je enjoys the status of being a ‘Dabangg’ policeman. Moreover, Singh has encountered 26 wanted criminals in his long-ranging cop career. And it was his entry in the showbuiz that made him more popular among the masses. Since his debut film ‘Dr. Chakravarthy’, Singh has acted in several web series and South films.
When the press got in touch with his close colleagues, they revealed that “stardom” rarely reflects in Singh’s real life personality.
Well, Singh’s big Bollywood debut will now introduce him to the Hindi cinema audinece.
