REJCTX Actor Sumeet Vyas And Ekta Kaul Welcome Baby Boy, Name Him Ved

Television actress Ekta Kaul who made her TV debut with Rab Se Sohna Isshq show and played the role of Sahiba welcomed her first baby with husband Sumeet Vyas. On Thursday, (June 4). They became proud parents to a baby boy and shared the good news on social media with a heartfelt message. REJCTX actor Sumeet took to his Instagram and wrote, “It’s a boy. Shall be called Ved. Mamma and Daddy are acting cliche…smothering the child every few minutes”. Within no time, the post received more than 68,000 likes and congratulatory messages started pouring in.

Ekta walked down the aisle with Sumeet in 2018 and the couple announced the news of the pregnancy in April 2020. Sharing a picture wherein Ekta was seen flaunting her baby bump with husband Sumeet and captioned the post as, “Proudly announcing our new project together. ???????? Introducing Jr. KaulVyas (soon) Created, Directed and Produced by US…. @sumeetvyas and I.”

Recently, the new daddy Sumeet started decorating the house with his sister and was all set to welcome the new member in his family. His wife even wrote an appreciation note for her husband and thanked him for all his support.

On the work front, Ekta who hails from Jammu and Kashmir came to Mumbai and started dabbling in the acting career. Later she got her first break and did a lead role in Rab Se Sohna Isshq show. She fell in love with her co-star Kanan Malhotra and the two were about to get married but later parted ways in 2013.
