Actor’s father had alleged that he was poisoned by Rhea Chakraborty.

The team of forensic experts from Delhi’s All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has reportedly concluded that there was no poisoning involved in the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The panel was constituted after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had asked for a reevaluation of the Bollywood star’s autopsy reports and his viscera findings. Sushant’s father KK Singh had earlier alleged that he was poisoned by his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

After a long wait, the AIIMS team finally submitted its report to the CBI today. According to sources, the investigative agency will be continuing the probe on the abetment to suicide charge rather than the homicide charge. The CBI investigation had come into picture after Sushant’s father had lodged a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and her family in Patna, following which a tussle of sorts had broken out between Mumbai Police and Bihar Police. The Supreme Court had stepped in finally and transferred the case to the CBI.
