Tanvi Rumale . Jun 10, 2021 .

Actress Rhea Chakraborty might have a positive career path beginning for her as she tops Times 50 Most Desirable Women list 2020.

Rhea Chakraborty who was infamously known as Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-girlfriend for most of the year 2020 has ranked number one on Times’ 5o Most Desirable Women 2020 list! Rhea Chakraborty is a Bollywood actress who was dating the late actor before he allegedly committed suicide and had an untimely death. Many people in the industry pointed fingers at Rhea for being the cause of her lover’s death. There were several allegations of Rhea using drugs and involving Sushant in the matter. There were investigations that took place and Rhea had to appear in court as well, along with her younger brother.

But as it turns out, there was no proof that was found against the actress and she was not guilty of any of these charges. Yet, she became a victim of public hate and many citizens of the country blamed her for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death as the issue was heavily publicised and #JusticeforSSR was trending on all social media for months on end. The actress later admitted her sadness over this negative media attention and expressed concern over her career after the whole incident. It looks like she does not have to worry any longer as she has been ranked number 1 on the Times 50 Most Desirable Women of 2020 list! The list also has many popular actresses such as Deepika Padukone, Taapsee Pannu, Tara Sutaria, Rakulpreet Singh etc., but Rhea has managed to top the list.

According to reports, the actress has also been approached by Bigg Boss makers for a stint on Season 15. The makers believe that Rhea’s participation will attract a lot of TRP and increase viewership. This could also be Rhea’s chance to change her public image and get noticed by filmmakers and TV producers.

Coming to the SSR case, it is going to be one year on June 14, since the day Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, but agencies like the NCB and the CBI are yet to come out with a statement about the investigation on his death. Many SSR supporters think that the actor is yet to receive justice and that there are perpetrators of the crime who are roaming free in Bollywood.
