Chellapilla Satyanarayana Sastry might have been forgotten by this generation but jury member and mentor L.V.Revanth proved in the last episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa- The Next Singing Icon, that his songs will live on for generations to come. He sang his classic ‘Gali Vanalo’ for the viewers and reminded us why it is a classic that just cannot be forgotten.

After one of the contestants had performed, judge and singer S P Sailaja had told them that they should always practice old songs because if they master that, they can very easily sing any song. After that, Pradeep had requested Revanth to sing the classic number ‘Gali Vanalo’ composed by the Amayakudu Kadu Asadyudu music director Chellapilla Satyanarayana Sastry, also known as Sathyam.

Revanth didn’t shy away from blowing everyone’s mind with his marvellous performance which made us fall in love with his voice all over again. Nailing it just like K.J. Yesudas did back in 1982, he will make you want to listen to the song right away! It is moments like these that remind us why the Jury members made it so big.

After this, Pradeep being the humorous host that he is, pulled the singer’s leg by telling him that the last bit got messed up because Sanketh had interfered then, turning it into a hilarious moment instantly. However, we cannot blame him because it was Pradeep who had requested Revanth to sing.
