Samantha made her digital debut this year with “The Family Man 2”, where she starred as Raji. In this series, she played the role of a resolute Sri Lankan Tamil liberation fighter on a suicide mission. The Family Man 2 is available on Amazon Prime Video. Samantha Prabhu received huge praise for her performance in the series. Samantha Ruth Prabhu has starred in various films like Ye Maaya Chesave, Rangasthalam, Neethaane En Ponvasantham, Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Majili (co-starred with her husband Naga Chaitanya), Jaanu and Oh! Baby, and many more.

Currently, she has finished “Shakuntalam” in Telugu. It is a mythological drama film, written and directed by Gunasekhar and produced by Neelima Guna and Dil Raju. Now, she is working on her next Tamil film, “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal”, being directed by Vignesh Shivan. In this film, she is co-starring with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Also, she is doing one more film with Ashwin Saravanan, which is yet to be titled.
