Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein is an &Tv show based on Maa Santoshi, the Indian deity who protects her worshippers. Gracy Singh plays the role of Santoshi Maa and looks divine on the show. The show revolves around the life of the protagonist, Swati, and her unbreakable faith in Santoshi Maa. Swati and her husband Indresh lead a happy and peaceful life but the Goddess Palomi is jealous of Santoshi Maa and therefore she decides to test the strength and love of the Goddess by harming her worshippers like Swati. The plot of the show focuses on Santoshi Maa’s abilities to save her devotees from every problem. Does this happen in real life too? Here are some stories from all around the world to make you believe in it!

In Mumbai, in the year of 2015, a young woman Jayanthi arrived from Chennai. The woman had a bag full of clothes and a purse with her. As she moved to her accommodation from the station she took in the breeze of a new city. Little did she know that she had lost much of what she had come with! Jayanthi’s purse with her cards, cash, and documents was missing. Jayanthi was desperate to get it back, she had no friends or relatives in the city. But the purse miraculously turned at her doorstep. The devotee of the Goddess shared her story and thanked the deity for helping her.

Similarly, a girl named Swati wrote on her blog, that she witnessed the heavenly deity’s blessing. One day when she was walking home late, the electricity fused and the streets became pitch dark. With no one to ask for help and her home far away Swati shivered, directionless. But as soon as she started chanting the name of Santoshi Maa, a white light appeared. This light then guided Swati to her doorstep and disappeared. The account still shakes her up.

There are many more such stories a few of them are even adapted into films and shows like Santoshi Maa. But the belief in the goddess when in dire need of help does bring her to you and only devotees know this. Many claim that Santoshi Maa is a cult Goddess who was born recently in the early 1900s. But it is untrue, the reference of Santoshi Maa is in the scriptures and Vedas of Hindus.
