Sarah Jessica Parker gives a sneak peek at Sarah Sanderson in Hocus Pocus 2

It’s nothing more than a slew of Hocus Pocus… as well as a sneak peek!

Sarah Jessica Parker is bringing back Sarah Sanderson, which the world has been yearning for. The 56-year-old actress has officially began production on the highly anticipated Hocus Pocus 2 after concluding the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That. SJP surprised her Instagram Stories fans on Wednesday, Nov. 10, with a sneak peek at the preparations for her comeback as the youngest of the Sanderson sisters.

She sings, “Hair and make-up test on HP2,” as she aims the camera to “Sarah Sanderson’s face,” which is just makeup being mixed by the on-set artist. “We’ll let you know how it all ends out, guys. Everything’ll be interesting to see how it works out.”

The actress next provides a brief glimpse of a blond wig being prepared while keeping her face out of the picture. “What happened to Sarah? What happened to Sarah? “In the voice of the legendary witches, she says. “I’m not going to show you anything else right now. We’re only getting started.”

The film, which will release on Disney+ in 2022, has been anxiously anticipated by fans. Sarah Jessica stated in May that she will reprise her role in the sequel.

On her Twitter page, Bette Midler, who portrayed Winifred Sanderson in the 1993 film, shared the same news — and summoned her sisters.

The picture, directed by Anne Fletcher, is shrouded in mystery. However, it has been announced that Sarah, Winifred, and Mary (Kathy Najimy), a.k.a. the witchy Sanderson Sisters, will return to Salem in the upcoming season.

Three young women unintentionally bring the sisters back to the present day after 29 years. The sisters must find out a way to prevent the child-hungry three from wreaking devastation on the globe. Alternatively, there will be hell to pay.
