Sathya In Trouble: Will Divya’s Accusations Affect Her Relationship With Prabhu & Family?

After Saturday night’s episode of Sathya where her sister Divya made a sudden comeback, we bet you guys can’t wait for tonight’s episode to air. In the previous episode, we saw Sathya and Prabhu’s family returning home after the thali pirichchi korkum ceremony only to find Divya waiting for them. The same Divya who was engaged to marry Prabhu, but he ended up marrying Sathya after his fiancee disappeared on the eve of the wedding. Naturally, Divya’s entry itself was dramatic as she accused Sathya of engineering her disappearance and ruining her life. It looks like Aayesha and Vishnu’s fans may be in for some nail biting moments in the next few weeks. And we had just begun rejoicing about Prabhu (Vishnu) and Sathya’s (Ayesha) growing bond on the show, but it looks short-lived, now that Ayesha’s sister Divya, essayed by Koli Ramya, is back in their lives.

Now, the last time we saw Divya was on the eve of her wedding to Prabhu, when was abducted by her ex-boyfriend. She somehow manages to escape, but falls unconscious on the road. Meanwhile, the letter left behind by her boyfriend creates an uproar in the kalyana mandapam and to save both families’ honour, Sathya and Prabhu reluctantly wed each other. Of course, this was easier for Sathya than Prabhu, since she has been in love with him for a long time. But Prabhu felt he could never get over Divya. We didn’t see Divya for a long time after that as Sathya and Prabhu try to make the best of an awkward marriage. It even looks like Prabhu may have fallen in love with Sathya. But then, we see Divya, lying bound and unconscious and in the clutches of Vinod, a business rival to Prabhu. Vinod wants to create chaos in Prabhu’s personal life to distract him from the business front.

Now, while everyone in Sathya and Prabhu’s family wonders what made her return, she tells the entire family that Sathya had kidnapped her and left a letter for everyone to think that Divya has eloped. She further adds, how Sathya was in love with Prabhu and wanted to get married to him, so this was all a part of her plan to keep Divya away and ruin her image. Now that the family learns this new piece of information about Sathya, the question is will they believe Divya and will these accusations affect Sathya’s newfound relationships.

Here are some possibilities of how Divya’s accusations might turn Sathya’s life upside down:

Sathya – Prabhu’s Budding Romance

As we know, Prabhu was in love with Divya. And when she allegedly eloped from her wedding, Prabhu was forced to marry to Sathya to maintain the reputation of their family. Although Prabhu was never attracted to Sathya, post-marriage he started to develop feelings for her. However, the two never professed their feelings for each other. Recently, when Sathya went to jail instead of Prabhu, the latter definitely felt something for her. We also saw that rather emotional moment last week when Prabhu wrongly assumes that Sathya has been bitten by a snake. And now when we expected to see the love bloom between the two, Divya is back to make things worse for Sathya and Prabhu. There are chances that Prabhu might start to have feelings for Divya again. Also, there is no doubt that Divya will try her best to lure Prabhu and manipulate him into giving Sathya divorce. So, clearly, Sathya and Prabhu’s love story is in for a difficult time.

Sathya’s Bond With Her In-laws

Sathya shares a beautiful bond with her mother and father-in-law and that has definitely got us jealous. But now it looks like, it will be short-lived too. Sathya’s mother-in-law, Yuvasree, initially hated Sathya’s presence in the house and her unorthodox looks and lack of sophistication. But, eventually, she grew to understand her and even love her. Of late, she has been very supportive of Sathya and has allowed her to make her own decisions. Her father-in-law had been Sathya’s biggest source of support and strength from the beginning and he treated her as nothing less than his own daughter. But now with Divya’s accusation, things seem a little uncertain as the two might turn against Sathya. After all, Yuvasree only recently began to start liking Sathya and trust is a fragile element.

Mother-Daughter Bond

Initially, Sathya struggled to earn a place in her mother’s heart while the latter ill-treated her throughout even though the family was entirely dependent on the oldest daughter’s income from the garage. Her mother even concealed the fact that Sathya and Divya are sisters from Prabhu and his family. The relationship changed when Divya disappeared from the kalyana mandapam and Sathya took her place. Sathya’s mother realised how her eldest daughter was actually the more loving, kind and reliable of the two and apologised to her for not being a good mother. But now, with the return of her favourite daughter Divya, things might take an ugly turn. Will she hear Sathya out or just blindly believe Divya and think that everything Sathya did was a lie.

Sathya’s Guilt

Sathya, who loves her sister Divya, was worried about her ever since she had left. Now that she’s back, Satya looked elated to see her safe and sound. But Divya instead accused Sathya of having betrayed her to get married to the love of her life. And now, we wonder if Sathya would take the blame to give Divya the life she deserved.
