The audience was in awe of his acting and singing skills. He had sung a reprised version of Ik Kudi, a melody beautifully picturised on Alia Bhatt’s character, and it became one of the best songs of the year. The song narrates the journey of an aspiring hockey player, who wanted to prove her skills and play the sport with all her might. ‘Soorat us di… pariyan wargi, seerat toh… mariyan lagdi’ such lyrics describe that the girl is just as innocent as a little child, unknown to the outer world and all she wants is to chase her dream.
