SCOOP: Hrithik Roshan Opts Out Of Preity Zinta’s Web Series

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan had previously announced that he will soon be seen in an OTT series on a leading streaming platform. He was expected to make his OTT debut with the series and the project had been planned to go on floors in 2021. As per a recent development, Hrithik has backed out from the project due to unavailability of dates. He has decided to not be a part of the series anymore and the makers have been discussing the matters with him to convince him otherwise. Last month, the actor had announced a new project named Fighter which will also star Bollywood beauty, Deepika Padukone. The film will be directed by Siddharth Anand and was announced on the occasion of Hrithik’s birthday.

Hrithik Roshan is one of the most celebrated actors in the industry, who is known for his strong personality and passionate acting skills. According to the video attached above, the good-looking star has backed down from his debut OTT project which was announced in the year 2020. The actor has reportedly been facing issues with his dates and has decided to do away with the project. He was planning to make his OTT debut with the web series but has lately been packed with various high-budget films. Hrithik Roshan was offered close to ₹75 crores for this project but he has turned down the offer.

The OTT series is being produced by Preity Zinta and is expected to be a high-budget series adaptation of the British web series, The Night Manager. The series has received critical acclamation from different parts of the globe and is hence, the adaptation is expected to do well in India. According to reports, makers have been approaching Hrithik Roshan and have been trying to rope him in on the project but there has been no development on it. The exit news has not been made official by Hrithik Roshan or the official team, yet.
