Popular face Sehban Azim is an Indian television actor. He has worked in shows like Dil Mil Gaye, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Humsafars, Thapki Pyaar Ki and Bepanah. He is currently seen in Zee Tv’s popular show Tujhse Hai Raabta alongside Reem Shaikh. Sehban is a recognised face as he has not only done TV and a few short films, he has also been a part of a few TV commercials for big brands.
Early Life And Family
Sehban Azim was born on 26 February 1986. Creativity seemed to flow in the family as his mother was a writer and his father was a painter. Sehban attended Dyal Singh College in Delhi. During his days in college, he also was a promoter and coordinator. He, however, left college in his second year to pursue a computer-related course. He ended up actually getting placed at an IT Firm thereafter.
After a few years, Sehban moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career. He is also very passionate about poetry and writes in his free time. He writes in three languages: Hindi, Urdu and English.
Rumours say that Sehban is dating Jennifer Winget who is also an Indian television actress. They both worked together on the Color’s show, Bepannah for a brief while when Sehban made a guest appearance.
Career
Sehban began his career with a lead role in a short film called Stations that was directed by Emmanuel Quindo Palo.
Next, he was seen in a cameo in Karma: Crime, Passion, Reincarnation. This was followed by Tequila Nights and Thriller 64 Panne.
Talking about television, he made his debut with Dill Mill Gayye as Doctor Yuvraj Singh.
He played the role of Karan Shekhawat in the show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.
He was then seen in Channel V’s Dil Dosti Dance as Aditya Khurana.
Next, he played Zaki Chaudhary In Sony Tv’s Humsafars.
He then did a few episodes for the show Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.
MTV Webbed was his next project.
In 2016, he signed the show Thapki Pyaar Ki.
In 2017, he played ACP Ajay Khurana in Udaan.
Next, he did a cameo in Bepanah as Yash Arora.
And since 2018, he has been seen on Zee Tv’s popular show Tujhse Hai Raabta as ACP Malhar Rane.
Sehban has also done many advertisements for brands like TVS Scooter, TVS Victor, Indigo Nation, MakeMyTrip, and Levis.
Awards:
Sehban has won an award for Best Short Fiction Category Award At International Documentary And Short Film Festival Of Kerala In the year 2010.
